                       SAFETY MANAGEMENT                                              
 

Introduction :

International Maritime Organisation (IMO) vide resolution dated 4th November, 1993 adopted the International Safety Management (ISM) Code. In order to comply with this regulation, PSC formulated various procedures for the safety of life at sea and environment in 1998. These procedures are documented in Safety Management Manuals viz.

The Company is audited by Directorate General of Shipping annually in order to ensure that the laid out procedures are complied with. The Designated Person Ashore is incharge of this Department who has direct access with the top level management and the ship.
